The Wreckage of the (Visible) Christian Church

First a disclaimer. The Church, the real Church, God’s Church, the Body of Christ, is composed of the saints in Christ, and is, by virtue of being "in Christ," perfect, unified, and sinless. Alas, such is not the case in the visible church. The visible church is an almost total wreckage, and has been so since the time of Constantine.
The bottom line in the wreckage of the church is that whoever has aided and abetted the enemies of the truth, whether political, or ultra dogmatic, whether with biased rationalism, or with theological liberalism bringing these assorted notions into the Church as alternatives to Biblical ideas, means and norms, has helped Satan do his work, whether accidentally, or deliberately. It is a good thing that God’s church comprises only His people, because the visible church, consisting of myriad local churches, and being nothing more than a "mixed multitude" is supplying its own substitutes, both people and ideas.
